BÉTON Concrete Terminal

Design a brutalist concrete civic data terminal.

Concept:
A monolithic public records terminal cast entirely in raw concrete.

Layout / Structure:
- Heavy, blocky, grid-locked — usable but austere
- Top: a massive slab header with an oversized title and a stark clock
- Left: a column of monolithic section blocks (navigation)
- Center: a list of records in raw concrete panels with huge numerals
- A single oversized action switch

Visual System:
- Monochrome concrete: greys from charcoal to pale ash, raw poured-concrete texture
- Hard 90-degree edges, exposed structural grid, heavy offset drop-shadows
- One restrained signal accent (safety orange) used sparingly
- Enormous condensed grotesque type, all caps — NO rounded corners, NO gradients, NO glow, NO color washes

Interaction:
- Selecting a section block swaps the records with a hard, instant cut
- Rows invert to solid black on hover — no easing, just weight
- The action switch thunks between states

Mood:
Austere.
Monumental.
Heavy and raw.
Unapologetically concrete.
