Design a 1940s film-noir private-detective case desk.

Concept:
A hardboiled investigator's desk where you work an open case by lamplight.

Layout / Structure:
- A moody desk workspace — clear but cinematic
- Left: a stack of open case files to choose from
- Center: the selected dossier — suspect, evidence, scrawled notes
- Right: a corkboard of pinned clues linked by red string
- Top: the agency name and a date stamp; a desk lamp lights the scene

Visual System:
- High-contrast black & white with warm tungsten amber from a single desk lamp
- Venetian-blind shadow stripes, drifting smoke, film grain, heavy vignette
- Typewriter serif and stencilled stamp type
- ONE spot of colour: the red string and a SOLVED stamp — NO neon, NO bright palette, NO glass

Interaction:
- Opening a case file types the dossier onto the page
- Tapping a clue pins it and draws red string between connections
- A CLOSE CASE stamp thunks 'SOLVED' across the file in red

Mood:
Mysterious.
Dramatic.
Smoky and shadowed.
Hardboiled noir.
